I create commercials and brand stories that connect—merging cinematic visuals, animation, and strategy.
projects
Ecocare
Produced, wrote, edited, and animated
Ecocare Pest Control wanted to move beyond the noise of their usual branding — the standard footage of technicians and trucks — and find a more memorable way to connect with audiences. We reimagined their message through storytelling, introducing a crass character in a comic scenario that brought fresh personality to the brand without losing its trusted tone.
I handled the 3D modeling and animation in Blender, and edited the final spot, which went on to win an Emmy for Best Commercial Spot (2023).
North American Bigfoot Center
Produced, wrote, shot, and edited
The North American Bigfoot Center wanted a spot that would attract locals and a younger audience. I developed a concept that leaned into the mystery of Sasquatch and the misty forests of the Pacific Northwest — blending the intrigue of The X-Files with the tone of a nature documentary to create something atmospheric, playful, and distinctly regional.
Power Northwest - Stone Age
Produced, wrote, shot, composited, and edited
Power Northwest wanted a fresh, humorous spot for television and web. After a series of concept brainstorms and pitches, we landed on a playful idea: a modern family living as though they were in the Paleolithic era to conserve energy. Using carefully designed practical lighting and subtle post-production, I created believable fire effects that helped sell the world. The result was a moody, tongue-in-cheek spot that connected with audiences and drove a measurable lift in calls and web traffic.
Portland Roofing Co
Produced, edited, and animated
Portland Roofing Company wanted to break free from the industry’s standard visual formula. We proposed a new approach—letting the houses do the talking. The fully animated CGI spot delivered a playful, memorable idea that helped the brand stand apart from its competitors.
The News Brothers
Produced, shot
Created to promote the 2026 Waterfront Blues Festival, the spot featured KOIN 6 on-air talent stepping into the iconic “News Brothers” roles as the real duo retired. I served as director of photography, designing the blocking and lighting to support comedic timing, live performances, and the seamless handoff between talent, all while keeping the shoot efficient and dynamic.
Sunshine Division
Produced, wrote, animated, and edited
Sunshine Division wanted to modernize its call for donations. The brief centered on creating an “app-like” feel that reflected efficiency, convenience, and ease of use. Using a bright color palette, vertical flow, and simplified, icon-driven graphics, the spot marked a clear departure from past campaigns and helped drive increased donations during the 2024 Thanksgiving fundraising period.
Polestar
Produced, wrote, shot, and edited
Portland’s Polestar dealer wanted a spot that reflected the brand’s sleek, minimalist design language while staying grounded in the local community. Using a mix of guerrilla-shot footage and factory-provided assets, I emulated Polestar’s corporate advertising style to maintain brand consistency while giving the piece a distinctly local feel.
Portland Music Company
Produced, wrote, shot, and edited
Portland Music Company set out to drive traffic to its brick-and-mortar locations with a series of commercials. Built around real employees—not actors—and the joy of musicians finding the right instrument, the spots balanced an authentic, documentary feel with brand polish, all under a fast production turnaround.
